Adobe Women's FA Cup Fourth Round draw
This is a run through of the games we have to look forward to in the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup
Earlier this morning saw the draw for the fourth round of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup take place. This round sees all twelve Barclays WSL teams enter the competition including last season’s winners Chelsea.
The lowest ranked team currently in the fourth round Moneyfields will travel away to Championship side London City Lionesses in what should be an intriguing game. Luton Town are still technically the lowest ranked team left despite not yet playing their third round game against Keynsham Town due to postponement, the winner of that game has a very good game on their hands as they’ll play Brighton at home.
In terms of some of the other notable ties, the holders Chelsea are at home to another WSL team in West Ham United while Arsenal are at home to Watford. Manchester City will travel to Durham and Manchester United will play Newcastle who are currently on the rise in the third-tier of women’s domestic football.
There are some all WSL affairs as well with Bristol City facing Liverpool after only recently playing each other at the weekend in a 1-1 draw. Also, Aston Villa are against Everton, these two also met not too long ago with Everton coming away as the winners in that one.
All the games will be played the weekend of 13th/14th January 2024 with all 32 teams hoping to make it to Round 5. Below is the full draw.
